[Additions]

- Added Tutorial Biome

[Design Changes]

- Luigi's longjump goes higher again, Mario's was also tweaked to go lower

- Luigi can hit bricks and crates using his longjump and galaxy spin (you need to be going upward to hit blocks with the galaxy spin)

- Luigi can now groundpound out of a galaxy spin

- Other sonic characters now have parity with Sonic (too many changes to note)

- Wario can now roll up slopes

- The kid can now collect mini mushrooms, becoming dot kid when he does so

[Graphical Changes]

- Resprited Goombrats

- Reworked a few biome backgrounds

- Fixed a few biome palette issues

[Audio Changes]

- finale and finalboss are now used

- Starman theme has now gotten an original composition

[Level Changes]

- Nerfed 7-2

- 8-4 now uses finale and finalboss music

[Bugs Fixed]

- Luigi's walljump should no longer get caught on walls

- Fixed Tyler and Text Blocks using the D-Pad icon for the blend display

- Tyler and Text Blocks should no longer try to use the text drawing function's color command while displaying the context menu

- Trigger/Loop Codeblocks now execute code correctly (they were broken with the optimization that came in 2.1.1)

- Fixed P-Blocks being offset when switching

- Fixed locked warpboxes giving an error when attempting to unlock it

- The Kid is no longer able to collect coins and rings by clipping into them

- Sonic no longer maintains his dropdash state when getting hurt

- Right facing wind streams are now properly aligned

- Luigi and Mario should now properly work with fences

- Fixed 'trying to draw non-existent sprite' error when your last savestate for time attack or The Kid was the pause menu

- Orbinauts and Lakitus can no longer bounce on springs

- Character Doors no longer switch character twice

- Character Doors now properly reset super and afterimages (if for whatever reason you want to use the old 1.9 super behaviour instead you can set the level description to "$keepsuper")

- Animated backgrounds no longer get destroyed when the horizon line comes into view

- Animated below backgrounds now actually work

- Characters with a hitbox less then 12 width will now no longer clip into ceilings

- Fixed wario's roll sfx carrying over to death

- Fixed water running

- Fixed dontdrawhudler player variable turning the game into a black screen

- Fixed level skins not replacing music outside of biomes with folders (it now replaces everything a music skin can (including princess.ogg) and doesnt need a biome folder to replace biome music)

- Fixed Co-Op not having a correct hud file, causing spr_unknown to appear

[Other Changes]

- Clock monitor will now play the small bumper sfx and do nothing in time attack mode instead of ruining your time

- Removed frameskip

- Blue koopas will now send The Kid's bullets back at him if he shoots them while spindashing

- Added more Kid specific deaths

- Character Doors with invalid character names now use a icon of a red X

- Character Doors now use lang for their error messages (game where character & game already character) and made the missing character error a little more helpful

- Character Doors set to "reset" will make the door reset you to the character picked in the roster

- Rewrote some lemon descriptions

- Added P-Switches to crates

- Gates no longer render behind assets

[Engine Technology]

- Added variable "monitem" to com_item() that lets the player obtain items while piping (this stops items recieved by monitors from being cancelled if you enter a pipe after)

- Vanilla characters now use com_item

- Optimized backbasground drawing by over 300%

- Overhauled the vertical parallax system for backgrounds

- Added offset parameter support for background transition layers

- Made runes object available to spawn mid-game again for modders, the main game spawner now deletes the runes instance from the menu before spawning gamemanager

- Level description tags like hidden now require a $ before the word to be registered (like $hidden)

- Added hpan, vpan, vl, forceminvscreen, attach, and attachstrong background parameters

- Added global.nohud command
